Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, with far-reaching implications for ecosystems, economies, and societies worldwide. The scientific consensus is that climate change is primarily caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes that emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These emissions trap heat from the sun and cause the Earth's temperature to rise, resulting in a wide range of environmental impacts. Addressing these complex issues requires innovative approaches that leverage the vast amounts of data available and harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to understand, mitigate, and adapt to changing climatic conditions. The fusion of big data analytics with AI presents unprecedented opportunities to enhance our understanding of climate dynamics, predict future trends with greater accuracy, and develop effective strategies for climate resilience and sustainability. In this era of rapid technological advancement and environmental uncertainty, the need for innovative solutions to address climate change has never been more critical.

The 2nd International Workshop on Big Data Analytics with Artificial Intelligence for Climate Change aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts from around the globe to explore the transformative potential of these technologies in tackling the challenges posed by climate change. Through keynote presentations, paper sessions, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to delve into the latest advancements in big data analytics and AI techniques applied to climate change research. From data-driven climate modeling and predictive analytics to AI-driven decision support systems and climate risk assessment tools, the workshop will showcase cutting-edge methodologies and best practices that hold promise for enhancing our ability to mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts.

The workshop will provide a platform for fostering partnerships and collaborations among academia, industry, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). By fostering a collaborative ecosystem, we aim to accelerate the translation of research findings into real-world applications and policies that contribute to building climate-resilient communities and promoting sustainable development. As a result, the workshop's theme is to invite various national and international academia, research professionals, Industry, and government entities to present their quality research work.
